在Delft小镇里那家我常去的小店里，翻到一个长相类似顶针的小东西，还有几个胸针。

 商店里，一个小桶里装着很多个这样的小玩意，看纹理，我猜它应该是顶针吧。问了店主，还真是。跟小时候见到的戒指型顶针完全不同，这个是套在指头上的呀。 :)

还淘到4枚胸针。针挺粗的，带上去不会很容易扎到吧？？老婆婆店主说，这个是要别在厚而且硬的大衣上的。那样的话就没问题了。 左边第二个小工具车的真是太可爱了～没想到会把这个东西做到胸针上阿。

老婆婆告诉我，这个胸针和顶针的价钱，和几十年前还是一样的。胸针35分一个，顶针50分一个。它们一直都是收集爱好者的小宠物。

嘿嘿。在我的毛衣上。

在网上查了一下关于西洋的顶针。其形式的多样化真是让我出乎意料了。

頂針是一種裁縫時戴於手指或姆指，用來保護手指的殼狀物。

最早的頂針由羅馬龐貝城出土，材質為青銅，製造時間為西元前79年。在今英國的St Albans也發現了羅馬的頂針，現保存於博物館。

頂針的材料包括金屬、皮革、橡皮、木頭、玻璃或瓷。早期的頂針有時會以鯨骨、角、象牙製成，天然材質包括石材、貝等材質。使用鑽石、藍寶石或紅寶石的頂針則非常少見。

I currently conduct research for Nokia Design and split my time between running user studies and developing new applications, services and products that, if I do my job right, you'll be using 3 to 15 years from now. Prior to this role I worked as Principal Researcher in the Nokia Research Center, Tokyo. I specialize in taking teams of concept/industrial designers, psychologists, usability experts, sociologists, and ethnographers into the field and, after a fair bit of work, getting them home safely. The tough part of the job is in using the data to inform, inspire and affect how my colleagues think and what they do, and in turning research into core intellectual property that underpins the future business. 非常DFI的思路。在全世界范围内，经年累月孜孜不倦地记录自己的设计观察。很受震动，立为自己的榜样。

我以后会（愿意）成为这样的人么？

仅从记录这样的观察来说，我想我会非常享受的。但工作的其他方面，我不要只是个design researcher。

可以么？

这个事情不宜一拖再拖。

首先，要找到chair和mentor，chair必须是IDE staff member。

同时，找公司，写自己draft graduation assignment。

      Formal approval of the graduation assignment，以下几样东西要备齐：

• a personal study planning(done)
• a list of criteria graduation assignments(done)
• personal education and graduation profiles(done)
• a draft graduation assignment 

      和supervisory team就graduation assignment达成共识后，将assignment提交至pfg mentor和某网址。

      pfg mentor还要填好 enclosure2的某表格（第一次上pfg已经填过了～）

最后，chair要把assignment和表格一起交给Examination Board审核。

draft graduation assignment是这样来的。

按照pfg的要求，要先写个subject description（这部分已经过了deadline了，而我还没做。。。）, 包括：

• the client(company or faculty staff member)
• the members of the Supervisory Team and whether you have ensured their willingness and availability already
• an introduction to the subject
• a preliminary problem description
• the preliminary goal of the assignment

 pfg mentor通过以上内容后，要花80-120小时，做个相关领域的exploratory study。在此基础上，写好draft graduation assignment。

工作量原来是这么的大！！！天，我深深意识到，我简直把这门课忘了。

如果我2月1号开始毕设，我还有一个月时间从头开始完成上面的事情。但我想，这几乎不可能了。比较可行的是，3月1号开始毕设＝。＝ 然后6个月毙掉毕设，9月毕业。

不算不知道，一算吓一跳。时间很紧呢！

话说，Bernardo昨天发信来感谢与大家过去18个月中的相遇相知，下个月他就要去丹麦做毕设了。这个疯子！什么都安排的这么有条不紊。
